![]() ![]() They accelerate almost effortlessly and with the air suspension ride very smooth. The cars are very nice with the right options. So, I started looking at 2013+ S6/S7 a month or so ago because it would give me the 4.0 V8. I found though that I really prefer the sound of a V8. Switched to have something that could be driven all year, hence the S5. To be fair, the tensioner, throttle body and supercharger were probably all good but were replaced in chasing down a problem that ended up being a bad dual mass flywheel.Īnyhow, my S5 is not the intent of this post, rather perspective on why an extended warranty is appealing to me. ![]() In it's first 46k miles it had the following replaced: thermostat, motor mounts, suspension bushings, pulley tensioner, throttle body, supercharger and dual mass flywheel. I learned with even the "bulletproof" 3.0 to buy the warranty. Been on the search for something to replace my 2013 Audi S5 that I sold a few months back. ![]()
